About Number Match
Number Match is a logic puzzle inspired by the classic pen-and-paper number-pairing game. Tap two identical numbers, such as 3 and 3, or two numbers that add up to ten, such as 2 and 8, to remove the pair. Your goal is to clear the board while improving your score. Look for matches horizontally, vertically, and diagonally. You can also pair numbers across the right end of one row and the left beginning of the following row. When no moves remain, add more numbers at the bottom to create new matching opportunities. Scan the grid carefully and plan which pairs to remove next.
Equal Numbers or a Sum of Ten
Remove identical digits or pairs such as 1 and 9, 2 and 8, 3 and 7, or 4 and 6.
Matches Across the Grid
Look horizontally, vertically, diagonally, and across the end of one row and the start of the next.
New Numbers and High Scores
Add numbers when no moves remain and keep planning matches to improve your score.
How to Play Number Match
Find a Number Pair
Tap two identical numbers or two numbers whose sum is ten. For example, match 7 with 7 or 7 with 3.
Check Matching Directions
Look for pairs horizontally, vertically, diagonally, or across the right end of a row and the left beginning of the next row.
Add Numbers When Stuck
If no moves remain, add more numbers at the bottom and look for new pairs.
Clear the Board
Keep removing pairs, plan your next moves, and try to beat your highest score.
